The Giving page is a place where you can promote your church’s eGiving options. How do members set up recurring donations online? Can visitors give during service using their smartphone? Here is where you can talk about that.
As a reminder, this should not be the only place you promote eGiving options. You should be sharing this information during weekly services, church events and in your bulletin as well.
BEST PRACTICES

Put your online giving link in a prominent location on your website so members and visitors can easily find it. You can either link to your separate online giving page or you can embed your online giving page on your website. Here’s an example of an embedded online giving page.

You want this page to be as helpful as possible. Imagine you’re speaking to someone who isn’t familiar with eGiving when you write this page.

Make sure your church website uses a secure connection. It’s easy to do this – you just need an SSL certificate.

Include specific information about these options, such as: The link to your online giving page, where to download the mobile app or the number to use when texting a gift.

Add a link to your Missions page to show people the causes your church supports.
